NOTICE TO JUDGES

Please note that this form is for existing AKC judges only.

CANINE COLLEGE USERS

If you are an existing judge and your score has not been posted to your judge's record in five days, please forward the confirmation email you received to PerformanceJudges@akc.org, and we will add it manually. Submitting the Judge's Affirmation Form will not add your score to your record.

If you do not have a judge number and took an exam online, please forward the confirmation email from Canine College to PerformanceJudges@akc.org and include the information requested at the bottom.

By proceeding with this form, you confirm that you are an existing AKC judge and have previously been assigned a judge number.

This form is intended to affirm one's willingness to adhere to current AKC rules and regulations while judging AKC events and to conduct oneself in an unbiased and sportsmanlike manner.

Further, I certify that I understand and acknowledge that if I am charged with the inappropriate treatment of a dog ("inappropriate treatment" means any offense involving a dog that alleges cruelty, abuse, neglect, or improper treatment of a dog as defined by AKC), or charged with any crime involving moral turpitude, especially as it concerns dog-related activities, the AKC may temporarily place my judging privileges on referral while the charges are pending.

Upon receipt of notification of the referral, I cannot judge or accept assignments to judge. When the charges are resolved, and AKC's inquiry into the matter determines that the AKC will take no action to cause a suspension of my judging privileges, the temporary judging referral will be removed.

This form must be completed to become eligible to judge any AKC Performance Events. Other individual requirements per event type may be required. Please reference the judge's eligibility requirements in the regulation or rulebook for each sport available.
